About Henry Hostetler.
Henry Hostetler grew up in Raeford, NC in Hoke County. He has lived in Pitt County since 1980 when he graduated from East Carolina University. He briefly attended Georgetown University upon graduating and then returned to Greenville to work with the City of Greenville at the Greenville Recreation and Parks Department. He met his wife Kathy at ECU and they were married in 1983.
Most important to Henry is faith and family. He looks forward to bringing his conservative values to the people of district five.
They have three children and two grandchildren. After working thirteen years with the City, Henry purchased Baywood Racquet Club. He turned Baywood Racquet Club into one of the most active clubs in NC. He was selected twice as the Professional of the year in NC.
Henry became President of the North Carolina Tennis Association in 2004 and later president of the North Carolina Tennis Foundation. Under his tenure the tennis association raised over a million dollars and acquired new office space and a new NC Tennis Hall of Fame building. In 2019 Henry was named to the NC Tennis Hall of Fame.
Henry Hostetler has volunteered in the community with numerous charities, churches, and big brother organizations. He appreciates the opportunity to give back to a community that has been so supportive of his family.
